I've been wearing Vans since the 1970s and have owned countless pairs over the years. That's why this is so disappointing.

I have two pairs of Sk8-Hi's, and both have the exact same problem: the interior ankle lining is literally disintegrating. Black material flakes off everywhere—inside my socks, on my floors, and even on my carpet.

These shoes were never used for skateboarding and were only worn occasionally as casual shoes. This isn't normal wear and tear—it's poor-quality materials. Two pairs failing the exact same way tells me this is a manufacturing or quality issue.

The Sk8-Hi used to be built to last. These don't. For a brand I've trusted for nearly 50 years, this level of quality is unacceptable. Cheap crap from overseas. What happened?

Vans needs to do better.

Everyday wear, goes great with jeans or leggings. Size is a perfect fit.

Not sure how many pairs this makes but they are always classic, comfy and durable. Look good new or worn in. #sweepstakes

These are why I wear Vans for skating. Always comfortable and fit perfect. The soles lasts longer than any other skate shoe. The sides stay intact after more ollies and kick flips than I can count. Oh, and nothing can come close to the style and nostalgia of Vans. Thank you for many years of ankle protection. Vans rock!
