Really comfortable right out of the box. Lightweight, great traction, very durable. Waterproof but breathes well. The fit is great. The corn that was forming from wearing the previous pair has gone away.

Best all around 4 months a year summer shoe if you live in the mountains and also go to work.

I’ve only had Merrell slip-on shoes (Jungle Mocs) previously, but I needed a pair of rugged, waterproof, comfortable, non-boot hiking shoes for a trip to Machu Picchu and the Galápagos Islands, so I decided to try these one-half size larger since I’d be wearing thick hiking socks. They exceeded my expectations. I broke them in prior to the trip but really didn’t need to - they were comfortable from the first wearing - and the extra toe wiggle room only added to the comfort. Unlike some shoes when you go up a half-size, my heel didn’t slip in the slightest. We’ll see how they hold up longer-term

Not the same shoe I bought a few years ago but the same price.The tongue of the shoe is not as wide or padded as my last pair… not as comfortable.

Sturdy waterproof hiking shoes for trail and pavement

Excellent shoe very well made, very comfortable and excellent traction.

I replaced a 25 year old pair of Merrells with these and they fit exactly the same and are just as comfortable as the originals.

First pair of hiking shoes and they have been great. Wore them on some 2-3 miles walks to break them in and then took them on a 34 mile backpacking trip. They felt fantastic and weathered really well, excited to use them on my next backpacking trip!
