Let me begin by saying I love Merrell's and I only wear this brand when hiking. I was really looking forward to these shoes based on how they looked and the reviews for comfort online. Needless to say I was highly disappointed and had to return them. They looked decent when I got them out of the box but the biggest letdown was comfort. I tried these on and if I'm being honest they were some of the most uncomfortable shoes I've ever worn. Idk if it's just the 'barefoot' style of these shoes or what but they offer no arch support whatsoever which is kinda important for shows considered 'trail' shoes. They felt very hard and very flat on the bottom with little to no cushion. I'm going to stick with the standard Merrell's for comfort and longevity.

Purchased for husband that had knee replacement. Other shoe soles were too tall and made him feel unstable. These were perfect! Lower to the ground, yet had a sole that wasn’t barefoot feeling. Bought multiple pairs!

Bought these for a trip to Italy where we did a lot of walking, including a Mt. Etna tour, and they performed very, very well.

They were fairly comfortable, but too stiff for me, so I returned them. They also run large. I ordered my normal size but exchanged for a half size down.

Do not take on any rough terrain. Barefoot means barefoot. And after about 4 hikes the soles started becoming unglued from the shoe. They are light though.

These are not my usual Merrells, but I decided to try them, thinking I would probably return them. But, I like them. I have difficult feet and usually buy mens sizes because women's aren't wide enough and too few are offered in wide widths. I cannot walk as easily in these as other Merrells I have purchased. But, if I don't have to walk very far, I like these. I did purchase mens sizes because neither mens nor women's styles were offered in wide withs.

Everything they say about these is true and more!! Super comfortable!

I bought these so that I can start to undo the damage done to me in my 31 years of life by wearing narrow toe box shoes (vans specifically)

These were a bit of an adjustment at first, but now whenever I put on a pair of my old trusty vans, I'm disappointed.

I can never go back to another shoe. These are top notch.

I wear them during the day, running, hiking, you name it.

They do it all, and they do it WELL.
