Glue like default + not neat finish on the top

There is what looks like glue/varnish stuck on the top of the desk. Also disappointed by what looks like laminate joints in the middle of the desk which look very visible (more than how it shows on the pic).

The side panels of the drawer do not have the same finish as the rest of the desk despite them being visible due to the design which seem like a lack of attention to details considering the price of the desk.

If it had not been for the sale price it would have been a major disappointment.

I couldn't bear the process of having to arrange an exchange. The packaging was damaged while removing the desk from it. There was so much of it which is understandable but meant that the idea of trying to repackage it was too much.

On a different note, gutted there was an additional % off code but the order had shipped. I should have known it would happen it seems to be a thing but it's so annoying.

      Risposta da La Redoute, 04/09/2026

      Hello,

Thank you for your feedback; we are truly sorry that this product did not meet your expectations.

Following your feedback, we carried out a quality check on our LARSEN desks in stock. We inspected two desks and found no traces of glue on the products. As wood is a natural material, there may be slight variations in colour from one product to another.

We therefore believe that your case is exceptional and we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Please do not hesitate to contact our customer service team to find the best solution to your problem.

We look forward to seeing you again at La Redoute

Les dimensions requises, peu encombrant, joli bois, et meuble monté.

      Beau bureau mais….

Le bureau est beau mais c’est dommage car il est bancal. C’est un peu décevant par rapport au prix
